Yam Lager / Black IPA / Mikan Sansho

Our much-loved craft beers are back for the season.

Created as an upcycling project, they use ingredients that would otherwise go to waste: locally grown sake rice that could not be used for Hatasho; misshapen but delicious Hatasho yams, a specialty of Aisho; and Harehime mandarins that had been left in storage at a farm in Okayama.

Yam Lager
Clean and refreshing, with a rounded, silky mouthfeel and a delicate hint of yam.

Black IPA
Toasty dark-malt aromas meet the distinctive character of sake rice. Full-bodied and deeply flavored, with a touch of bitterness to sharpen the finish.

Mikan Sansho
A rush of orange aroma on opening, followed by balanced acidity. The citrus expands across the palate and lifts through the nose.

Enjoy the contrast among all three. We invited artists to create the labels, with two designs for each flavor.
